Engineered stone is known by many names: Caesar Stone, Silestone, Hanstone and Formica Stone. Quartz is a natural stone with diamond-like hardness. It provides extraordinary strength and durability. The slabs of engineered stone are 93% quartz crystals and 7% polyester resin. The polyester resin seals the stone together and produces a non-porous, food safe surface requiring no maintenance. It is stain resistant and comes with a ten-year warranty, unlike other stone products.
